About The Position

We are seeking a reliable Patient Escort to safely transport patients throughout a hospital setting. This role involves assisting with wheelchairs, stretchers, and hydraulic stretchers while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CPR certification required
• 2+ years of experience in patient transport, healthcare, or customer-facing roles
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to work alternate weekends
• Physical ability to assist with patient movement and prolonged standing
• Must pass background check and health screening

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely within the hospital using appropriate equipment
• Follow all safety protocols during patient movement
• Assist with patient transfers while ensuring comfort and dignity
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and hospital staff
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transport equipment
• Adhere to schedules and maintain punctual attendance
