Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Must be able to obtain BLS certification upon hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Knowledge of hospital layout and body mechanics
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Continuous standing, walking, pushing/pulling heavy equipment.
- Occasional bending, crouching, lifting.
- Exposure to cleaning agents, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients via stretcher, wheelchair, bed, or specialized vehicle to and from various hospital departments.
- Assist clinical staff with patient transfers.
- Maintain and care for transport equipment.
- Attend training sessions and departmental meetings.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or unsafe conditions.
