Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary teams to determine menu alternatives for patients with dietary restrictions.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient's menu selection in a timely manner.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO.
• Adhere to facility confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning workstations.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients with specific dietary needs.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
