About The Position

The Patient Counselor for ED Registration performs outpatient and inpatient registration functions, provides general information to hospital users, patients, and families, ensures that patients meet financial requirements, provides excellent patient-focused customer service, and communicates effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience or office experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent customer service experience.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities
