About The Position

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team. They are a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, dedicated to their team members' growth and development. The company, founded in 1996, is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States. Through direct ownership and joint ventures, MedQuest operates a mixed network of independent and hospital-affiliated radiology centers that perform diagnostic tests used to help identify, diagnose, and monitor a range of health conditions. They provide expert solutions including mammography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray, and use proprietary systems and processes to optimize center operations, control costs, and deliver an unmatched patient experience. Patients, referring physicians, and healthcare systems count on MedQuest, and the company is growing to meet demand. This full-time position is located at Novant Health Breast Center Winston Salem, 2025 Frontis Plaza Blvd Ste 300 Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0 - 2+ years of experience working in a customer support role or hospitality field
  • Strong customer service background and focus
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a physician practice or other type of medical services office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting
  • Medical records experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact with patients, referring physicians, and the general public on the imaging center’s behalf
  • Welcome all patients and their family members into the imaging center
  • Make patients and all visitors feel comfortable
  • Anticipate and attend to the needs of patients
  • Check patients in
  • Answer the telephone
  • Route incoming calls to the appropriate party
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Collect balances from patients’ financial responsibility at time of service
  • Perform other front office/desk duties as necessary
