About The Position

Patient Interaction : Welcoming patients, answering phone calls, handling inquiries, and managing the reception area. Scheduling & Coordination: Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating. Administrative Support: Updating patient demographics, maintaining records, and processing patient forms. Financial Duties: Verifying insurance eligibility, collecting payments, and processing billing information. Operational Support: Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, managing office supplies, and communicating with medical staff.

Requirements

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for patient and staff interaction.
  • Organization : Strong attention to detail in managing records and schedules.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and office software.
  • Customer Service: Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.
  • Medical Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is usually required.

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or customer service setting is often preferred.
