JOB SUMMARY Handles front desk and medical records duties. SUPERVISION: Reports to the Center Manager RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare charts for appointments; print daily appointment list for provider, type and create new patient chart within 24 hours of office visit Check patients in for appointments; verify insurance and demographic information at each visit, collect co-payments and patient balances Check out patient after they've seen the physician; schedule return visit as needed Answer phones; take and relay messages; refer callers to other departments as needed Copy, scan and mail documents and forms as needed Performs related work as required.
