About The Position

The Patient Connection Specialist at One Health Connections is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and facilitating patient requests in a medical office environment. This role emphasizes effective communication and efficient navigation of enterprise resources to ensure patient satisfaction and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Superior customer service skills and/or call center experience preferred.
  • One year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience with computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office, CRM Software, and EMR Software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of principles of growth and development relevant to patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a telephone answering platform to answer calls for multiple areas efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain expert working knowledge of database applications while ensuring patient privacy.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve departmental goals and metrics.
  • Facilitate patient requests in a safe manner according to service line guidelines.
  • Engage in active listening and critical thinking to identify caller needs and process calls appropriately.
