About The Position

Northwest Eyes, is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice, we are searching for a Patient Concierge Supervisor to add to our team. Job Summary: Provide overall supervision, coordination, and participation in the delivery of patient services including check-in, check-out, and medical records. In the case of satellite clinics, surgery will include surgery coordination. Participates in the hiring process, supervises staff, plans and implements procedures and policies, patient experience process guidelines, standards of care and practice to ensure specific patient care needs are met, and those of the organization. Implement, maintain, and monitor patient services protocol and procedure manuals. Work continually to improve patient concierge operations, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a high degree of leadership competency, including but not limited to collaboration, negotiation, motivational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellence in communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey ideas and information verbally and in writing.
  • Able and willing to achieve goals with tenacity and compassion.
  • The ability to work independently or lead and perform as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare organization.
  • 2 years of supervisor/management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviews, orients, hires, and trains employees.
  • Plans assigns and directs work.
  • Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees.
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Manage the flow of patients, by coordinating, hours, and position requirements. Maintain the appropriate staff in all positions, and fill in at any position when needed.
  • Train staff to be accurate and efficient on current company procedures and policies, current insurance company requirements, and systems (EPM and EMR), and continuing education of staff on customer service internal and external
  • Coordinate, complete, and verify all required surgery paperwork according to established procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
