Essential Functions Under the direct supervision of the Physician Support Manager Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services. Schedules/re-schedules patient appointments at the appropriate facility and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintains designated account folder following departmental expectations. Communicates regularly with assigned referring offices and appropriate sales representatives. Ensures patients have been cleared for specific diagnostic tests. Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information as needed. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Basic computer skills required. Has knowledge of insurance plans. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Other duties as assigned by Manager. Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service. Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment. Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Has knowledge of insurance plans.
