Job Summary and Responsibilities The Patient Companion monitors patients at risk of harm to themselves or others, and may assist in providing basic patient care in accordance with the individualized needs of the patient, and the standards of practice of St. Joseph Health. Performs a variety of basic care services related to the activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

  • Required High School Graduate General Studies (or GED), upon hire or Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

  • The Patient Companion monitors patients at risk of harm to themselves or others
  • Assist in providing basic patient care in accordance with the individualized needs of the patient, and the standards of practice of St. Joseph Health.
  • Performs a variety of basic care services related to the activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
