About the position
DaVita offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for all skill levels in a hands-on, intensive direct patient care role as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at our Oak Park, Michigan facility. This position is designed for those who are empathetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the care, comfort, and well-being of each patient. You will work under the supervision of nursing staff and a larger care team, dedicating your Head, Heart, and Hands to pursue the Mission, live the Values, and build a healthy Village. The role involves monitoring, educating, and caring for up to 4 patients throughout dialysis treatment, with exposure to blood and handling needles. The schedule is full-time with no on-call duties, requiring a minimum of 3 days and 30 hours a week, including alternating Saturdays and occasional Sundays based on holidays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, educate, and care for up to 4 patients throughout dialysis treatment.

- Provide hands-on patient assistance in a high acuity environment.
- Build relationships with patients and support the community.
Requirements
- Obtained a minimum of a High School Diploma / GED.
- Experience in acute or long-term care desired.
- Comfortable with high acuity patient base and hands-on patient assistance.
- Reliable and accountable team player.
