About The Position

DaVita offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for all skill levels in a hands-on, intensive direct patient care role as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at our Oak Park, Michigan facility. You will work under the supervision of nursing staff and a larger care team, dedicating your Head, Heart, and Hands to pursue the Mission, live the Values, and build a healthy Village. The role involves monitoring, educating, and caring for up to 4 patients throughout dialysis treatment, with exposure to blood and handling needles. The schedule is full-time with no on-call duties, requiring a minimum of 3 days and 30 hours a week, including alternating Saturdays and occasional Sundays based on holidays.

Requirements

• Obtained a minimum of a High School Diploma / GED.
• Experience in acute or long-term care desired.
• Comfortable with high acuity patient base and hands-on patient assistance.
• Reliable and accountable team player.
