Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• C.N.A. certification through the Arkansas Office of Long-Term Care, preferred not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
• CPR preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning and implementing daily activities for patients
• Reports relevant patient information to the Registered Nurse for evaluation, intervention and documentation
• Monitors the patients during use of potentially hazardous equipment
• Assists in admission process of the patient, which includes the inspection, and proper care of all patients’ clothing and property, orientation of the patient to the unit and the program
• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine patients' needs
