About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency in Arizona, providing residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services for individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is a non-profit provider of substance use and behavioral health programs, utilizing cutting-edge, evidence-based models. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, delivering direct care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), either in person or telephonically. The PCT's primary focus is direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. Additionally, the PCT is responsible for ensuring the safety of their assigned unit, which includes identifying environmental and patient-specific safety concerns and escalating them to the appropriate personnel such as the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience where prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred

Responsibilities
