Overview Shift: Day/Evening Flex, 16 hours/week Under the supervision of an RN provides direct patient care. Applies knowledge and skills by focusing on patient’s personal care, activity, nutrition, hydration, elimination, and prevention of health complications. Offers exceptional service and support to patients and their families during times of physical and cognitive ill health. Requirements

Basic CNA Course
Must be 18 (Eighteen) years of age or older
Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
Comprehensive on-the-job training provided — no prior experience necessary

Responsibilities

PCT performs patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN.
Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
