Patient Care Technician PRN Float Pool SRO Night Shift

BayCare is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join our staffing resource office float team. Must be comfortable floating to multiple hospitals/units in region 1 which includes the following facilities: St. Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant NorthBay Hospitals. Summary: Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
Requirements
- Required Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
- Minimum requirements include 6 months acute care experience or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only.
- Required - High School or Equivalent
- Required - Technical - Patient Care Technician; or - Technical - Certified Nursing Assistant; or - Technical - Emergency Medical Technician; or - Technical - Licensed Practical Nurse.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year - Hospital in related field.
- EMT (Emergency)
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
