About The Position

We are seeking dedicated Patient Care Assistants to support our nursing and therapy teams in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist with both direct and indirect care activities, transport patients throughout the organization, and help keep operations running smoothly by picking up and delivering x-rays, supplies, mail, scans, and other essential items. You will also play a key part in supporting overall patient flow and participating in quality assurance activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment. The starting rate of pay is $18.55/hr with comprehensive benefits pacakge.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or
• Matriculation in a Nursing Program.
• NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification
• Previous experience in a hospital setting
• Current nursing student
