What You’ll Do: 1st shift, full benefits eligible, bi-weekly pay Support licensed nurses by providing direct and indirect patient care, including personal care, comfort measures, and creating a safe environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collect patient data such as vital signs, weights, and pain scores, and report significant findings to the nurse. Document care and findings within established timeframes. Assist with patient transport, registration, and hospital navigation while maintaining professionalism. Serve as a liaison for patients and guests, demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork. Handle equipment, supplies, and waste appropriately, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Assist with surgery scheduling, chart preparation, and cross-train for central sterile, preadmission testing, and related functions. Respond to emergencies, attend mandatory training, and adhere to compliance and confidentiality standards. What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by relevant coursework or experience in patient care techniques (e.g., nursing or medical-related field). American Heart Association BLS certification within 60 days of hire (continuous certification required). Behavioral Health & De-Escalation Training (BHDT) within six months and annual certification thereafter.
