Patient Care Technician (Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available)

The Opportunity As a PCT, you will be a vital member of our care team, providing direct support to patients aged 10 to 17 years old who are navigating eating disorders. This role offers the chance to be a consistent, positive role model and mentor in a young person's recovery journey. What You'll Do Direct Patient Support: Assist young patients with daily living activities and ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Mentorship & Role Modeling: Actively promote positive coping mechanisms, healthy routines, and social skills development. Observation & Reporting: Monitor patient behavior, document vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the nursing and PMHNP team. Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate, supportive intervention as needed, under the direction of clinical staff. Shift Requirements (Flexibility is a Must) We offer both full-time and part-time positions. You must be available to work within the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM . Why Join Our Team? Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- certification as a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician preferred
- Previous experience in a patient care role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
