Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. Job Summary Part-time, 24 hours a week, 12 hour shifts Night shift Performs patient observation, documents patient care and response to care and communicates significant information to the registered nurse and other appropriate team members.

Requirements

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Successful completion of a Patient Care Training program.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months experience.

Nice To Haves

• State Certified Nursing Assistant licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
• Perform these duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide direct patient care for patients on the Patient Care Unit.
• Services are determined by the patient's plan of care and include personal care and activities under the direction of the Licensed Care Giver and in conjunction with the Respiratory and Rehab departments and the Laboratory.
• Functions as a member of the Patient Care Team in conjunction with the Licensed Direct Care Giver.
