About The Position

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs a variety of technical tasks and bedside care activities to support high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include direct patient care-hygiene, skin care, mobility support, and monitoring-as well as multi-skilled tasks such as phlebotomy and EKGs. The PCT assists with equipment management, procedures, and other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and safe unit operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of patient care experience (long-term care, specialty care, acute care, or similar).
• Proficient reading and writing in English
• Ability to maintain composure in medium- to high-stress situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• GED or HiSET
• Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association, Certified Nurse Aide - OtherOther
