About The Position

As a brand-new in-patient rehab hospital, we are committed to setting new standards in patient care and rehabilitation. We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for compassionate, experienced Patient Care Techs to join our team. The shift will be 7p-7a.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Patient Care Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing the orderly flow of unit and patient related data.
- Responsible for communications through the answering and initiation of telephone calls, written messages, and the organization and completion of the various charts, requisitions, reports and other forms.
- Also assists with patient care duties, such as bathing and feeding of patients.
