American Heart Association’s Target: Stroke Honor Roll award. To qualify for this recognition, hospitals must meet specific criteria that reduce the time between an eligible patient’s arrival at the hospital and treatment with a clot-buster thrombolytic. All three Post-Acute Rehab programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and both Acute Inpatient Rehab Units are Stroke Certified. Our Skilled Nursing Unit is CMS 5 Star rated and has been recognized by US News and World Report as best in Short Term Rehabilitation for 3 consecutive years. To qualify for this role, you must be a current member on the Illinois Department of Health's Nurse Aide Registry, and have BLS CPR by the AHA. We can train willing individuals to do the rest! Performs a variety of direct patient care procedures to assist the unit manager, professional staff and physicians in providing patient care focused on the needs of the patient.
