We are having a Meet-n-Greet Hiring Event, with on-the-spot interviews available, for Patient Care Technicians in the Orlando and surrounding areas of Florida. Here are some discussion points to think over prior to attending: Why working with dialysis patients appeals to you (opportunity to develop relationships, etc.) Your thoughts on teamwork Career goals Attitude/Work Ethic/Energy Comfort level working in a fast-paced environment DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Requirements

  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • CHT
  • phlebotomy certification
  • healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
