About The Position
Give Life. Build a Career. DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Schedule Expectations: Full-Time Position Work Days: typically 3-4days/week, Monday – Saturday (Sundays off!) Rotation: Work every other Saturday Hours: Shifts range between 8-12+ hours, 4:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
