About The Position

You Belong Here. Patient Care Technician Full Time - Night Shift - 7pm-7am Responsible for functioning as a technical assistant and practice partner with the registered nurse. Performs delegated nursing functions that are moderately complex patient care duties and carries out plans formulated by licensed or certified professional staff. Responsible for performing routine unit assignments and paraprofessional patient care duties such as taking vital signs, performing electrocardiograms, observing monitors and identifying deviation from normal conditions.

Requirements

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland is required or GNA if working in Long-Term care facility
• 6 months of experience as a PCT, Patient Aide, GNA or currenlty enrolled in a nursing program
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
