This role functions as part of the dialysis health care team, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and training, as well as complying with state and federal regulations. The technician is responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and assists in maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The position supports the organization's commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, including those related to patient satisfaction and process improvement. No prior dialysis experience is required, as comprehensive paid training is provided. This is a full-time position with early morning start times (as early as 5:00 am), involving either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, including some Saturdays. Benefits include no overnight shifts and clinics being closed on Sundays, offering hands-on patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
