About The Position

Under the direction of the registered nurse (RN), the PCT I perform delegated patient care activities in a manner that is aligned with the age specific needs of the patient to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality care. PCT I is an entry level position whose job functions include but are not limited to providing for a patient's activities of daily living (ADLs); limited screening, collection, and recording of data and information; maintenance of unit supplies and equipment; patient transporting; answering call-lights, telephone, Vocera. Shifts are 7-7 with a weekend and holiday rotation

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED- Preferred
• Nursing student after having completed 1st semester of clinicals- Required
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)in the state of Indiana- Required
• Prior PCT experience in another acute care health care organization- Required
• Completion of Franciscan PCT In-training program-Required
