Patient Care Technician - Bone Marrow Transplant + Cellular Therapy Unit - Days
About The Position
The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patient and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values. This position will rotate to both the Inpatient and Outpatient BMT/Cellular – Immunotherapy Units which specializes in the care and treatment of the Adult Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Florida CNA license is required
Nice To Haves
- Oncology experience preferred
- bone marrow transplant experience and Cellular infusion highly preferred
