About The Position

Overview Shift: Full-Time, 40 hours/week. Variable shifts: 6:00a - 4:30p & 7:30a-6:00p, Monday - Friday, 4- 10-hour shifts. Call requirement. Under the supervision of an RN provides direct patient care. Provides technical services and support for patients undergoing surgery and their family. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families. Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older.
Certified Nursing Aid certification required.
Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work.

Responsibilities

A PCT will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN.
Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
