About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct, hands-on care to patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is crucial in helping patients receive life-sustaining dialysis treatment. DaVita is a comprehensive kidney care provider dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients globally. Requirements

  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in dialysis
  • Prior experience as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in a dialysis setting, with a strong preference for experience in In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD)
  • CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
