About The Position

Position Summary • Responsible for assisting with professional nursing care for SIH patients. Education • High School diploma or equivalent Licenses and Certification • Completion of Illinois approved CNA training program and passed a written competency test or has successfully completed a nursing arts course (E.g., Basis in Nursing, Fundamentals in Nursing, Nursing 101, etc) • BLS Experience and Skills • Technical Experience: NA Role Specific Responsibilities • Assists nursing staff with patient care activities such as but not limited to obtaining patients vital signs, intake and output, bathing, feeding, toileting etc. • Assists in medical emergencies, including CPR • Complete, accurate and timely documentation in patient medical record • Timely communication of changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse • Timely completion of delegated tasks from Registered Nurse • Serve as an advocate for the patient by communicating and collaborating with other health service personnel • Timely completion of required education and competencies • Cross train to telemetry tech if applicable to department needs Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $17.57 - $26.36 To access our Benefits Guide/Plan Information, please click the link below: http://www.sih.net/careers/benefits Introduce yourself to our recruiters and we'll get in touch if there's a role that seems like a good match. Requirements
