Patient Care Technician Observation Unit Part Time Days
About The Position
3S - Observation Unit3 South is a 16-bed observation unit. This is a fast-paced unit/environment with patients that will be considered observation status. Patients will have a wide variety of different diagnoses/illnesses. Nurses on this unit must be able to assess and coordinate patients discharge planning with many different disciplines. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
- CPR - Basic Life Support
- Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or Graduate of Phlebotomy course
