Patient Care Technician - CCHT Required

Make a real difference in patients’ lives. DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide hands-on dialysis care in a hospital setting. What You’ll Do: Deliver one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease Monitor and record vital signs, set up dialysis machines, and observe treatment Support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care Educate patients on dialysis-related topics Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- CCHT Certificate or CHT (BONENT certified)
- Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
- Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience a plus (CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, BONENT certified)
