Candidate must be available for at least FOUR Shifts per month. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Patient Care Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing the orderly flow of unit and patient related data.
- Responsible for communications through the answering and initiation of telephone calls, written messages, and the organization and completion of the various charts, requisitions, reports and other forms.
- Also assists with patient care duties, such as bathing and feeding of patients.
