Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Champion patient dignity and comfort by providing essential support with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring every patient feels respected and well-cared for during their stay.
  • Support patient mobility and safety by skillfully assisting with movement and positioning, reducing the risk of injury and promoting a faster recovery process.
  • Serve as a vital link to the clinical team by observing and immediately reporting changes in a patient’s physical or emotional condition, ensuring the nursing staff has the real-time data needed for quick intervention.
  • Maintain a healing environment by ensuring patient rooms are clean and orderly and medical equipment is ready for use, creating a professional and stress-free space for recovery.
