About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Emergency Department is responsible for performing patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role is essential for ensuring the care, comfort, and safety of patients. The position is full-time, located in Plainfield, IL, and requires working mid-shift hours from 1 PM to 1 AM, including rotating holidays and weekends.

Requirements

• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or a minimum of six months of previous patient care experience.
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation or successful completion of EMT-B course.
• Successful completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by the department.
