Addendum to Job Description Hawaii Regional Float Pool This addendum outlines additional requirements and expectations for employees assigned to the Hawaii Regional Float Pool. Floating Requirements Employees in the Hawaii Union Regional Float Pool are required to float to all Hawaiian Islands and Guam. Assignments are determined based on critical staffing needs and may vary from month to month. Travel Expectations Float assignments are issued one month at a time . As part of this role, employees are required to travel for a minimum duration of one month per assignment , with the possibility of extension for up to three (3) months , depending on ongoing critical staffing needs and regional coverage requirements. PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Functions as part of the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set forth by the corporation, state, and federal agencies. Responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. Supports the organization commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities, including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the organization Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).
