About The Position

DaVita is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. No dialysis experience is required, and excellent paid training is provided. Training may occur in a facility or a training clinic other than the assigned home clinic, and the PCT will float to various clinics during and after training. The role requires a flexible full-time schedule, working 3-4 days per week with 10-12-and/or-14-hour shifts, including alternating Saturdays, with Sundays off. Requirements

  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
