Patient Care Technician (PCT) - PRN
About The Position
This is a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position where the Patient Care Technician (PCT) will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide patient care and support services to the patient, nursing unit, and professional staff. The role is based at Methodist Southlake Medical Center, a 54-bed acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas. The center features 11 operating suites, two endoscopy suites, a diagnostic and interventional catheterization lab, and an expanded emergency department with 12 exam rooms, offering a full complement of services from emergency care to advanced surgery and imaging. Requirements
- Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program
- 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
- Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the nursing program
- Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman
- Foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
