Patient Care Technician, PCT - Medical Innovation (Day Shift)
About The Position
Augusta Health is seeking a night shift PRN patient care technician Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure efficient unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures. Includes bathing, dressing and feeding of patients, performing vital signs, phlebotomy and Ekg's. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Educational requirements per hospital certifications (Example: Stroke, Orthopedic/Spine).
Nice To Haves
- Completion of 1st semester of clinical rotations in an RN program preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant in Virginia preferred.
- Previous acute care hospital work experience preferred.
