Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Telemetry
About The Position
Up to $5K SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
Requirements
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Required Certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program
- Florida-issued CNA license
- completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program
