Position Summary The Patient Care Tech assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to PCT's and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Nurse Assistant Course
  • Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Basic Life Support
  • Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Provide basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient
  • Serve as a clinical preceptor to PCT's and is cross-trained to Unit Associate
