About The Position

The position involves preparing and monitoring equipment used for hemodialysis, maintaining an infection-free environment of care, and ensuring that supplies and equipment are well-maintained. The technician will prepare dialysis stations and reinforce patient education. Effective communication and teamwork as part of the interdisciplinary team are essential to support operational efficiency and provide safe, high-quality patient care. The role also includes providing clinical support to licensed healthcare professionals during patient care. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Previous health care experience preferred.
• Certified as a Patient Care Dialysis Technician by a State Agency or Nationally Recognized Certification Program within 18 months of hire date.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• Certification as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT), Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), or Certified in Clinical Nephrology Technology (CCNT) is required.
