About The Position
Position Summary: Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital. Position Qualification: High School graduate or equivalent work experience; and Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting; or EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; or Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School Requires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting; or EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification; or Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School
- Requires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions.
- Required BLS certification from the American Red Cross
- Must clear background and drug test required.
