Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma/GED
• Prefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the Iowa Direct Care Registry
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and providers with patient care in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Provide comfort and support to mothers and families
• Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly
• Help with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding support
• Keep patient rooms stocked, organized, and welcoming
• Ensure a safe and caring environment for every patient and baby
