About The Position

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in assisting patients with their daily living activities and supporting the healthcare team by collecting, reporting, and documenting patient data. The technician is committed to maintaining high levels of patient and family satisfaction by providing care tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Collect, report, and document patient data.
• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of assigned duties throughout the unit.
• Evaluate own nursing practice in relation to standards and regulations.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of assigned duties.
• Interact with and contribute to the development of peers.
• Deliver care in a nonjudgmental, nondiscriminatory, sensitive, and culturally competent manner.
• Collaborate with clients, family members, significant others, and healthcare providers.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
