Jefferson is also recognized as the 2nd Best Hospital in the Philadelphia Metro area and the 3rd Best Hospital in Pennsylvania Responsibilities Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients:

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One of the following is required: PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT cert preferred
• Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.
• AHA BLS required

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient
• Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets
• Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures
• Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed
• Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation services
