Description Principal Accountabilities: 1. Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers appropriate screening tools. 2. Records medical information and test results, conducts patient interviews, takes and records vital signs. 3. Assists with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits, ensures verification and recording of clinical data and adherence to quality standards. 4. Monitors environment for compliance with continual accreditation readiness and evaluates practice schedule for changes or updates. 5. Documentation: Documenting patient information and data, including vital signs, weight, height, blood pressure, and temperature 6. Supplies and equipment: Preparing, organizing, and efficiently utilizing supplies and equipment 7. Provides emotional support related to the patient's clinical situation in accordance with the patient's plan of care. 8. Patient Care Technician must be willing and able to work with diverse group of patients, each with unique healthcare needs. They need to be attentive to detail and have excellent communication skills. 9. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 1. HS Diploma or equivalent 2. EMT certification and/or nursing assistant certification Preferred: Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Care Center. 6 months prior healthcare experience with patient care experience preferred. Completion of Healthcare Provider Course within six months preferred BLS preferred; required within 3 months of hire. CCMA in PCT program related preferred
