Must be willing and able to work with diverse group of patients, each with unique healthcare needs
Need to be attentive to detail
Have excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Assisting patients with obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights
Assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, accommodations as needed
Performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring if needed
Taking patient histories, preparing examination rooms, and helping with minor medical procedures like wound care, vaccinations, and blood draws, if needed
Observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN
Preparing examination rooms as needed
Documenting patient information and data, including vital signs, weight, height, blood pressure, and temperature
Preparing, organizing, and efficiently utilizing supplies and equipment
Maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned
